MAGIC Mirror – U.S. & California Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing MAGIC Mirror. We want you to fully experience the benefits of your smart fitness mirror. The following policy applies to purchases delivered within the United States and includes additional disclosures required for customers in California.

1. Return Eligibility

MAGIC Mirror (Main Device + Packages)

You may return your MAGIC Mirror for a refund within 30 days of the date you receive it.
This return window also applies to items purchased as part of a bundled package with the mirror.

Accessories Purchased Separately

Standalone accessories may be returned within 14 days of receipt.

Condition Requirements

To be eligible for a return, all items must be returned in original condition, including:

  • Original box and foam inserts

  • Plastic mirror cover

  • Accessories box with instruction manual, marketing leaflet, wall mount, and wall tether

Items returned with missing components or excessive damage may be rejected or may qualify only for a partial refund as permitted under federal and state law.

2. Return Costs

MAGIC Mirror + Packages

Returns of the mirror or bundled packages within the 30-day period are free within the United States. No pickup or return shipping fees apply when the mirror and all bundled items are returned together.

Accessories Returned Separately

If accessories (e.g., dumbbells, benches) are returned separately and not part of a mirror package return, a pickup or shipping fee will apply. All applicable fees will be disclosed and agreed upon before the return is processed.

International Orders

Customers outside the United States are responsible for all international return shipping costs.

3. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact Us First
    Email team@magic.fit to initiate your return.
    Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.
    We cannot process return requests submitted through live chat.

  2. Complete the Returns Form
    You will be asked to complete a digital Returns Form, including:

    • Reason for return

    • Product feedback

    • Confirmation that the mirror has been reset to factory settings

    • Photographic proof of the reset

  3. Schedule Pickup
    Once your form is approved, you will receive a tracking link to schedule your pickup.

  4. Refund Processing
    Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval.
    Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
    Please allow up to 7 business days after inspection for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or credit card provider.

4. Important Notes

Evaluation Period Purpose

The 30-day window is provided so you can evaluate whether the MAGIC Mirror meets your needs. Excessive damage or misuse may affect refund eligibility.

Limitations

  • Applies only to purchases made directly from magic.fit.

  • Third-party retailer purchases must follow their respective return policies.

  • One trial / return period per customer or household.

  • Some items that raise hygiene or safety concerns may be non-returnable unless defective, and this will be disclosed at purchase.

5. California-Specific Disclosures (Required by California Law)

We comply with California consumer protection regulations, including the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA) and California Business & Professions Code §1723. Below are your additional rights if you are a California resident:

5.1. Transparency of Refund Policy (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §1723)

California law requires retailers to clearly and conspicuously display their refund policy.
Our full refund policy is published on our website and provided before checkout, in compliance with §1723.

If a refund policy is not properly disclosed, California customers may be entitled to return unused goods within 30 days, even if the retailer normally does not allow returns.
Because we clearly disclose our policies, the eligibility requirements above apply.

5.2. California Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA)

Under the CLRA, California consumers cannot be required to waive statutory rights.
Nothing in this policy:

  • Limits your rights to refunds or remedies for defective or misrepresented products

  • Prevents you from seeking relief under applicable California consumer laws

  • Requires return of an item that cannot reasonably be shipped back if severely defective or unsafe

If your product arrives damaged, defective, or not as advertised, you are entitled to a remedy under California law regardless of the standard return window.

5.3. No “Genuine Use” Requirement for Statutory Rights

While our evaluation period is intended for product testing, California customers cannot be denied a return based solely on our subjective determination of “genuine use” when statutory return rights apply.

We may, however, reject returns involving deliberate damage, missing components, or misuse consistent with federal and state law.

5.4. California Warranty Rights

California residents are protected under state warranty laws, including the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, which guarantees that consumer products must be:

  • Fit for their intended use

  • Free from manufacturing defects

  • Backed by repair, replacement, or refund if they fail during the warranty period

Your statutory warranty rights exist independently of our return policy.

MAGIC — U.S. Limited Warranty

Effective for all purchases made in the United States

1. Warranty Period

  • MAGIC Smart Fitness Mirror: 3-year limited warranty

  • MAGIC Smart Adjustable Dumbbells or The Smartest Folding Incline Bench: 1-year limited warranty

Warranty periods begin on the original date of purchase.

 


 

2. What’s Covered

This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that affect normal, intended use of the product. If a covered defect is confirmed, MAGIC will repair the product or replace it with a new or equivalent model.

 


 

3. What’s Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Accidental damage, drops, impacts, or misuse

  • Improper installation, handling, or storage

  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations

  • Environmental damage (excessive heat, moisture, humidity)

  • Damage caused by failing to follow the user manual

  • Acts of nature such as fire, flooding, or other external causes

  • Cosmetic issues that do not affect performance

  • Normal wear-and-tear

 


 

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To submit a claim:

  1. Provide proof of purchase showing the date and authorized retailer

  2. Contact MAGIC support at team@magic.fit

  3. Follow the troubleshooting or inspection steps provided by our team

  4. If a return is required, we’ll supply instructions and prepaid shipping for valid claims

Please do not return any product without approval from our support team.

 


 

5. Repairs and Replacements

For valid claims, MAGIC will:

  • Repair the product, or

  • Replace it with a new or refurbished unit of equal performance

Repaired or replacement units are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days, whichever is longer.

 


 

6. Limitations

To the extent permitted by law, MAGIC is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, such as loss of use or personal injury unrelated to a product defect. Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to every customer.

 


 

7. Implied Warranties

Any implied warranties (including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose) last for the duration of this limited warranty unless otherwise required by state law.

In states where implied warranties cannot be limited—such as California—the full statutory protections apply.

 


 

8. Additional Rights for California Customers

California customers receive extra protections under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act:

  • Implied warranties last at least one year, even if the written warranty is shorter

  • If MAGIC cannot repair a defect after a reasonable number of attempts, you may be entitled to a replacement or refund

  • These rights cannot be waived

Nothing in this warranty limits any protections you are entitled to under California law.

 


 

9. Non-Transferable

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.

 


 

10. Non-Residential Use

This warranty covers products used in a home environment. Commercial or public use may not be covered.
